hotel's treatment builds trust. I usually make my reservations as far in advance as possible, so on the eve of my arrival I contact the hotel to confirm my reservation. Jose Maria Gualda's response, on behalf of Mayorazgo, was impeccable, as was the registration process. On the other hand, he likes the thematic concept of the hotel because it differentiates it. restaurants are also to be thanked for their period proposal. Something that caught my attention was that the hotel claims to be in contact with an emergency medical service for cardiac patients. Good point. I had the experience of ordering a taxi to the airport, before which the staff offered me the service of the hotel for the same price. I took it and result was very pleasing: I had a comfortable luxury van.
However, the property already demands arrangements that translate into the full comfort of the guests. Among other improvements, spacious elevators and more lighting in the corridors are required. It is also time to renew the carpet in the staircases and corridors, or even remove it to create a more aseptic environment.

Appreciated Madrid, the hotel was special and chic near to everything or a short walk away. It offered us marvellous location short walk to theaters, restaurants and shopping as well as nice restaurant. The place was very close to Tapa Tapa, where you can have dinner. Had the queen room which was newly decorated with a terrace.

We liked very much the beautiful wink that makes Madrid and Madrid with its decoration in the facade, hall, rooms, staff's dressing room, music in the elevator, even the music of the waiting in the calls... great applause to the live piano music that they offer in the hall. I like music and I think that nothing beats live music. Our era was bright, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I asked for a detail when I arrived at the room because it was my wife's anniversary and everything was easy and good suggestions to carry it out. We had dinner one night in the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a very friendly and pleasant treatment from all the staff.
As a small detail perhaps the lighting and decoration of the corridors and doors is a bit out of date if you compare it with the interior of the rooms, although it is also a small detail I did not like that I will be charged for the use of the safe. I had never paid for it in a hotel of this category and I was told that there were two wifis and that I had to pay for the premium. Luckily I didn't use the internet much and simple one was enough but just like with the safe I don't like that you have to pay for a service that in this category of hotel should be premium and free by default.

The location of the hotel, next to Plaza Espana and very close to subway, Callao station.
The 4 stars rating is a false one, the hotel rating should be maximum 3. The furniture is old, the ceiling and walls in the bathroom are full of mould and warped.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location right on Gran Via, and the staff is genuinely friendly and accommodating. The carpets in the lobby appeared dirty, and the bathroom in the older room felt outdated. It was a pleasant experience despite a few shortcomings.
